We’re excited to announce the following new institutional partnerships!
Professor Iddo Ben-Ari is an Overleaf Advisor who is based at the University of Connecticut. This year, Iddo decided to run a summer research program with eight students and wanted a platform that enabled them to collaborate and give feedback easily. Being an Overleaf Advisor he benefited from the Overleaf premium account, we also upgraded two graduate students participating in the running of the program to premium during the course of the program. The premium accounts helped organize group work enabled the organisers to share comments with students.
This Top 5 list was developed through conversations with, and answering questions from, Librarians, IT professionals, and faculty over the past two years as a trusted collaborator and Senior Institutional Account Manager at Overleaf.
We’re delighted to announce that we will be launching Overleaf v2 on 4th September—marking the release of an updated editor and dashboard for the Overleaf platform.
We have two exciting additions to Overleaf v2 to highlight in this update—Rich Text mode and the ability to add linked files (from other projects, or from external sources)—which were released recently in amongst many other improvements behind-the-scenes!
