We're excited to announce that Overleaf has been selected as part of the innovative 'Future of Science' session at LeWeb next month! WriteLaTeX co-founder Dr John Lees-MIller will be there to present the latest on Overleaf - our collaborative writing and publishing platform that is making it easier for scientists to create and share their research around the world.

John tells the story behind writeLaTeX, including some of the technical challenges we've faced in bringing (TeX) online and scaling it up to serve over 150,000 users.

It’s here! The feature you've been asking for since we first launched our bibliography manager integration in September. You can now import your reference library directly from Mendeley to Overleaf, to make it easy to manage your references and citations in your projects.

What an amazing conference! I've talked about writeLaTeX so often now I usually feel confident and at ease, but the quality of the talks at #bib14 (plus my last minute decision to focus the whole first part around horses) made this one a lot more nerve-wracking! Amazing reaction though - it generated philosophical and technical discussions in equal measure, and I left San Francisco exhausted after the two-day event.
